Parr Microwave Acid Digestion Vessels are used for treating either inorganic or organic samples with strong acids or alkalis under heat and pressure in metal-free vessels. These chemically-inert, sealed vessels allow for microwave heating for rapid sample dissolution or digestion while providing complete containment and recovery. These vessels can be placed directly in a microwave oven for specific, high speed heating to drastically reduce the time required to dissolve or digest an analytical sample. Parr Microwave Acid Digestion Vessels are made in two sizes that can be heated in any of the commercial microwave ovens regularly offered for household use. Specially constructed and/or vented ovens are not required.
